Consortium Executive Committee Meeting

The first meeting of the Presidium of the STUBA–EUBA University Consortium was held at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, attended by the rectors of both partner universities.

The meeting was devoted to evaluating the results of the STU–EUBA University Consortium project, funded by the Slovak Republic’s Recovery and Resilience Plan, which is nearing completion on June 30, 2026.

One of the most significant outcomes of this collaboration is the creation of six joint degree programs that integrate technical disciplines with economics and management. The first students will be able to enroll in these programs as early as the 2026–2027 academic year. The new programs respond to current labor market needs and will prepare professionals capable of navigating the environments of modern industry, energy, financial technology, and international business.

The members of the Presidium commended the progress made in joint academic, research, and innovation activities and discussed strategic options for further developing cooperation after the project concludes. The shared ambition of both universities is to develop the partnership as a long-term platform supporting excellence in education, science, research, innovation, and the transfer of knowledge into practice.

The STUBA–EUBA Consortium is an example of successful cooperation among Slovak universities, which contributes to the development of a more modern, competitive, and internationally open higher education environment.
